How long does pension sharing take?
Overall, agreed pension sharing takes around 6-8 months.
This does not include:
- negotiating the amount to be shared; or
- requesting and receiving the cash equivalent value of the pension.
The first stage
Every pension sharing order must have a pension sharing annex attached.
